This Sunday, Rev. Joanne Blum speaks on, "Prayer as Transportation." She writes of this topic, "Although we don't tend to think of prayer this way, it truly is the most powerful form of
transportation there is. Emmet Fox wrote that "prayer is the only action that makes things different." It will transport us to a new place in our lives, a place
we can stay and live in, because it changes us from the inside out. As we are transformed by our times in communion with God, our outer world is
transformed too, automatically and organically. As this year's vacation season draws to a close, maybe now is a good time to think about taking one more trip--an inner trip to a heavenly place called the
presence of God. This is the one trip we never have to come back from because it will transport us into a whole new reality. Bon Voyage!"
