Expect the Good - Make a Commitment! Rev. Robin VolkerDear Unity Friends,

Each week in our prosperity program---"Expect the Good!"---we are studying one principle, which I am calling a "stepping stone." These stepping stones are meant to come together to build the
spiritual path to a deeper understanding of prosperity and abundance.
True abundance is the ability to use spiritual energy, combined with mental thought, to bring God's Goodness into expression in all phases and facets of your life, including health, happiness,
peace, love, fulfillment, and unlimited possibility. For a moment, I want you to think about what unlimited possibility would look like to you? If you knew that you could try anything
and succeed, what would you pick today? This is the power of co-creation that we have been given. This is
God's loving gift to each and every one of us. We do have creative power – we are spiritual beings – we are capable of creating our
own reality – we do have the power to satisfy our needs – and to allow our dreams to come true.
In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus helps us see the natural abundance that permeates all creation. He speaks of
the lilies of the field and the birds of the air. He says describes a pattern and a rhythm of life. Nature is
abundant. It doesn't struggle. It doesn't strive. But we struggle; we strive; we worry - don't we?
It is time to recognize and affirm that abundance is our natural state of being. I am asking you to look at each of these important areas through which God expresses as you
and make a commitment for the next seven weeks to be transformed in powerful and dynamic ways in each of these areas. Think of your health – What commitment do you need to make to God and to yourself to manifest true
abundance for your physical, mental, and emotional self? Think of your finances – What commitment do you need to make to improve finances in your life?
Think of your relationships – What commitment do you need to make in your personal relationships with
family – loved ones – with your spiritual community? Think of your creative self-expression – Have you committed to allow your dreams an opportunity to come forth into tangible form? Think of your spiritual growth –
What is your commitment to your spiritual practice? Have you committed to
pray every day? To meditate for a few minutes every day? To study something that adds another building block to your foundation of understanding? Commit this week to be a giver to life – a "live-er" of life.
Today is the day to look beyond the labors of what we can see and to awaken to more than we have ever before imagined. Commit now to be God in expression and expect the Good!!
