Unity calls our faculty of imagination,
our "mental scissors." It is with the Power of Imagination that we "cut out" from the Universal substance or energy what forms our lives. Imagination is our ability to form thoughts and
images. When we picture what we desire, we set into motion the creative energy of the Universe to bring that "image" to us.To use the Power of Imagination, begin by recognizing that what we desire is
already formed in God-Consciousness. It is through our spiritual link to God-Consciousness that what we desire materializes in our lives. We are constantly shaping our world with our thoughts. As we
practice using our spiritual power and connection to God-Consciousness, we see results in our three-dimensional world.
By now, we realize that the creative process needs all the Powers to work together to accomplish
our creation. When we use all our Powers together, we actually do more than just check off accomplished goals from our list: we created a spiritual experience that raises us to higher and higher spiritual
awareness.
At Unity in Community, we have been "imagining" our own spiritual home for some time. As we unite our Power of Imagination with wisdom, love, life, order, and all the other spiritual powers,
we create a sacred space to bless others and ourselves in wonderful ways.
This week, let us imagine the very best in all things and celebrate as each desire comes into form.
