Dear Unity Friends,

This past Sunday, Rick and I had the opportunity to meet Rev. Michele O'Donnell, spiritual healer from San Antonio, Texas. Michele presented a lecture at Unity of Massillon in Canton on Sunday afternoon. Educated as a nurse, Michele served many years in the medical field. Her life-long goal has been to find a way to end the tragedy of suffering by disease. Michele is the founder of the Holistic Health Care Center in San Antonio, where Michele teaches all she knows: "God is Life and Life is God."

During her lecture on Sunday, Michele made some profound statements. There was nothing in her talk I didn't know or didn't believe; however, her conviction and determined faith caused the words to hang in the air with power and a life all their own. Here is some of what she said:

Is your condition (whatever it is) going to dominate you? Or are you going to heal it? There is only One Law and that is the Law of Perpetual Life. This Law of Life has made you free of all the lesser laws of man. Don't accept anything contrary to the Law of Life. Know that in the Kingdom of God you cannot suffer a loss. You cannot suffer lack. Everything we need is given to us in consciousness. Claim what we need as ours, not for personal gain, but for the fulfillment of our divine purpose. That purpose is to bring the light of Life (God) to others. When you live your life for this purpose, the blessings will chase you down. You cannot outrun God's blessings on you when you are living to your Light purpose. Do not feel sorry for those diseased. Our sympathy empowers their disease. Instead of sympathy, give them your words of Truth by saying "NO" for them to the darkness called disease.
