Dear Unity Friends,

I often begin my day listening to the voices of my friends, Lori Sandstrom and Robert Anderson of Devotion.  On their cd, "Do All You Can" is a song that Robert wrote called, "Through the Eyes of Love."  Though I have listened to this song many times, today it caused me to pause and reflect right in the middle of eye liner and mascara application.

The chorus says,
We see what we want to see, and what we wish to be
It's just the way we dream it
The key to what we would believe is just to know that
Everything's a miracle when seen through the eyes of love.

"Everything is a miracle when seen through the eyes of love."  How would your life be different if today you put on love glasses and looked at everything in your life with a new vision?  Put on love glasses and look at your partner or spouse.  Put on love glasses and look at your children.  Look at your home, your work, your boss.  With love glasses look at your bills, your body, your health.  Look at your past, your present, and your future.

Are your love glasses powerful enough to transform all the situations and circumstances in your life into miracles?  The song says, "Everything is a miracle when seen through the eyes of love."

We started on this journey, our convictions all in place
But one by one they tumble; each one a gift, a gift from grace
We can change, change our point of view
And gaze upon the beauty that is me, that is you.

It is a gift from grace to release our judgments, attachments, and interpretations and be willing to see through the eyes of love.  It is a gift from grace because this release cannot be earned or bought.  It comes to us freely, without obligation.  Today, pick up love glasses and look at your life and see the beauty of the miracles that are all around you, including you.
