Our Unclaimed Divine Inheritance By Rev. Jan Seward Dr. Emilie Cady in Lessons in Truth, wrote."Do you stop to think, really to comprehend what it
means to be 'heirs of God', and joint-heirs with Christ?" (Romans 8:17) And the apostle Paul goes on to say in a letter to the Philippians, "Let
this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God." (Philippians
2:5-6) Do you believe that there's a Divine invisible presence within you and in everyone else? Jesus Himself says, "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?" (
John 10:34)
In the Book of Exodus, God was said to have told Moses that he was to go to the pharaoh and free the children of Israel. Moses then asks how he
could do such an enormous task all by himself, and God replies, "I will certainly be with you." (Exodus 3:12) Moses then asks, "
Indeed when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers, has sent me to you', and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?"
And God said to Moses, "I AM THAT I AM, and thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you'…..This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations."
(Exodus 3:13-15) This is also a memorial to you and me in this generation. The name of God (which is you and me) is I AM.
But if you, like me, still have trouble at times seeing yourself as God in expression, it might help to imagine God as the ocean. Dr. Wayne Dyer wrote in his book, Wishes Fulfilled
: "If you take a bucket of water out of the ocean, is the water in the bucket the ocean? Yes, it is. It's altogether
ocean - and the ocean, even though it's larger, is still altogether the whole of the ocean in the bucket.
Now think of yourself as a bucket of God - Altogether God; and God is altogether you. It's only when you and I stay separated from the ocean that the water dries up."
This is our task in grasping our highest self: staying aligned and not separated from our Source, and remembering the words of the Psalmist, "Be still and know that I am God."
(Psalm 46:10) Could it be that what you and I are looking FOR is what we are looking WITH? Perhaps this is what
author, T.S. Elliot had in mind when he wrote: "We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all
our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."

"Home is where the heart is." This familiar saying also pertains to Unity Spiritual Center.
Membership at USC indicates a definite, considered choice to be an integral part of this Unity family.
It represents a commitment to the manifestation of Unity principles in your life and a commitment to
share in the joys and responsibilities of creating and maintaining an ongoing Unity ministry in Central Ohio.
If you have been celebrating with us at our Sunday Services and feel comfortable with the teachings,
the people, and the love and acceptance you find here, you may wish to consider becoming an active member of Unity Spiritual Center.
Membership is open to anyone who is drawn in consciousness to the teachings presented here and
the loving spiritual community you find at this church. Becoming a member entitles you to a vote at all
membership meetings. Voting members have a voice in the direction and future of USC.
Relinquishing your membership with another church is not a requirement at Unity unless you desire to do so.
There are three steps to becoming an active Member of Unity Spiritual Center. They are the following:
1. Request for Membership form, complete it and return it to the Minister. 2. Attend one three-hour Membership Orientation class where you will learn about the history
of Unity, foundational Unity teachings, and where you are encouraged to ask any questions you may have about membership in Unity. The next class will be Wednesday, May 23rd at
