Spending the Day with God

AFFIRMATION –  I expand my awareness of God's presence in my life, today and everyday.

Scripture: " I can do all things in (God) who strengthens me."
Phil. 4: 13 

"For if God is for us, who is against us?"  
Romans 8: 31. 

• God is before us, behind us, to the left and the right—all around and inside.  God is everywhere present—always.
   
• Ancient Biblical teachings taught that how we go to bed and rest is how we set our new day into motion.
   
• When we don't know the answers to our problems and questions, we can trust that God knows.  "God, I don't know; but I know you know.  And I can trust that knowing."
   
• When we partner with God, we are in partnership with an energy and intelligence greater than our problem, greater than whatever is not going well for us, greater than whatever is causing the upset.

• Having one day with God is not about doing different things.   It is about doing the same things, differently.
